4th Annual Veterans Appreciation Bass Tournament
Boater Request 

Dear Sir or Madam:
We are holding our 4th annual event to honor our American Veterans for their many contributions and sacrifices. The event will take place on September 22, 2012. The veterans will be treated to a fun filled day complete with a bass fishing tournament on the St. Johns River launching from the Palatka city ramp at safe light and finish at 2:00pm. Volunteer boaters from all over the state are needed to assist our HEROES during the tournament. Boaters will furnish all fishing gear, baits and life vest. Prizes and trophies will be awarded to the top finishing teams. This event has no entry fee. We will have local Vets and Vets coming from Daytona, St Augustine, Jacksonville, Orlando, and Gainesville. If you will be a volunteer boater please contact any of the individuals listed below. With Bass Capital BassMasters-TBF, you can help make this an event for all to remember.

Breakfast will be available at no cost as will a barbeque after weigh-in.

Although this will not take place until Sept 22, 2012 we have to start now to ensure we have enough boaters to make this happen. We had 37 Veterans the first year and 67 Veterans the second year and 74 this past year and expect at least 100 this year. Please mark your calendars and help make it even better this year.
