If you love to bass fish but have never fished in a tournament before, you have no idea what you are missing. Bass Capital BassMasters was started for just this reason. To promote the future of bass fishing and to keep and make sure tournament fishing continues to be a fun and enjoyable sport. Beginning fishermen will enjoy our club for the opportunity to meet other fishermen, learn new lakes and fishing techniques, and gain exposure to competitive fishing. Experienced anglers enjoy our club for the camaraderie and the chance to share what they know with other fishermen.
Will Starling - Could he be the youngest club tournament winner in Bass Capital's history! We'll have to check the record books. Congrats will an a big win. An important note - our March tournament is moved up to the first weekend in March because the Florida Bass Federation 2nd Qualifier is scheduled for March 8 & 9. Our club meeting will be Tuesday February 25. The Advisory Board meeting will be on the usual day, Tuesday March 11.
Starting January 2014 our meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of the month at the Quality Inn, Palatka, FL starting at 7:00pm. We fish the weekend following the meeting. We offer the option to fish either Saturday or Sunday to make it easier on those that can not fish on a specific week-end day. Our meetings are open to all, so feel free to stop by and check us out. We hope you like what you see, and consider membership with us. We welcome Boaters and Non-boaters. Our Club is affiliated with the Florida Bass Federation, TBF and FLW. We also sponsor the Junior BassMasters of Palatka, FL.

The 5th Annual Veterans Appreciation Bass Tournament was a wonderful event. Bass Capital thanks all of the Vets who came out to fish with us. We also thank all of the boat captains for sharing their boats, tackle and time to take these great men and women fishing for the day. Our sincerest appreciation goes to all of the sponsors and volounteers who helped make the day special. Thanks again to Joe Nickol and Terry Driggers who work hardest of us all to keep this tradtion. And thank you, God, for beautiful weather and keeping us all safe.
